  • Application – Stainless steel reactors can carry out a variety of chemical, biological, organic, and inorganic reactions and processes. Many can perform more than one function. Reactor selection should begin with an understanding of what you need it to do. Specialized reactors have been developed for synthetization, crystallization, incubation, and dozens of other uses.

  • Conditions – One of the most important advantages of using stainless steel reactors is their ability to control and manipulate the conditions under which the reactions occur. They can be programmed to create the ideal temperature, pressure, and pH ensure the reactions take place at the right time and pace. Jackets are outer shells surrounding the tank or vessel through which cold water, chilled brine, hot oil, steam, or other medium circulates.

Flat-bottomed stainless steel reactors are easier to manufacture, so they cost less. That additional savings is reflected in the purchase of used reactors.
