Phoenix Equipment completed the sale and international relocation of a 500 TPD nitric acid plant from Canada to Türkiye, managing the project from technical evaluation and commercial negotiation through dismantling, export preparation, heavy-haul transport, port operations, and ocean freight. The relocation involved more than 1 million pounds of machinery and equipment, including 15 break-bulk pieces and 15 forty-foot containers, with oversized equipment requiring engineered lifting, specialized transport, and export preservation. The project gave the buyer a complete used production plant while reducing both capital cost and project timeline compared with a new-build facility.

Phoenix Equipment acquired and redeployed a surplus 55 TPD VPSA oxygen plant from Bhagawati Oxygen in India to a major platinum producer in Zimbabwe. Phoenix coordinated the transaction, dismantlement, inland transportation and international shipping, allowing the buyer to obtain proven oxygen production capacity while cutting more than a year from the project schedule and avoiding the cost of a new-build plant.

When a U.S. fermentation company needed 3,000 liters of additional bioproduction capacity but faced two-year OEM lead times, Phoenix sourced an unused BioEngineering system from a cancelled project. Phoenix acquired, packed and delivered the complete bioreactor system, enabling the buyer to add production capacity in less than three months for under $1 million—compared with more than $3 million invested in the original equipment.

Phoenix Equipment acquired an unused 60 Nm³/hr containerized green hydrogen plant originally built by Pan American Enterprise and redeployed it from Texas to Australia. Phoenix managed the transaction, international logistics, import requirements and technical documentation, giving the buyer immediately available hydrogen production equipment and substantially shortening the project timeline compared with procuring a new plant.

Phoenix Equipment acquired an unused, never-installed 35,000 Nm³/hr hydrogen plant originally manufactured for the Saras refinery in Italy and relocated it to the United States for a renewable diesel project. The buyer obtained major UHDE and Linde hydrogen production assets at a fraction of new-build cost and with equipment lead time reduced to months, while Saras recovered substantial value from a stranded capital asset.

A clean-fuels startup needed hydrogen production capacity quickly but faced a new-build alternative costing more than $10 million. Phoenix searched the broader industrial market, identified three available plants and helped the buyer select, inspect, acquire, dismantle and relocate a 2 MMSCFD hydrogen plant from Calumet’s Montana refinery—all within approximately five months. The transaction significantly reduced both capital requirements and project lead time.

Phoenix Equipment acquired Arch Chemicals’ complete hydrazine hydrate plant and Ketazine process know-how and identified a Chinese chemical producer seeking to modernize its existing operation. Phoenix then managed match-marking, dismantlement, packing and relocation preparation, including four stainless steel columns more than 200 feet tall. The buyer acquired an integrated production plant and proven process technology rather than developing an entirely new facility from the ground up.
