Used 880 TPD urea plant designed by Vulcan (CPI Allied). High pressure 6,000 psig once through urea reactor capable of 80% CO2 conversion complete with zirconium liner and purge water protection system. The plant includes carbamate decomposer and ammonia stripper. Monoethanolamine based CO2 removal system. The plant has been uprated by addition of one additional CO2 compressor and one additional ammonia charge pump to achieve current capacity of 880 metric tons per day. CO2 compression using three Ingersol Rand heavy horizontal electric reciprocating compressors. Ammonia feed to reactor using four Worthington Septuplex plunger pumps. The product of this plant goes to Urea Granulation Plant #536 to make urea granules.

Unused and never installed 200 TPD High Pressure Urea Reactor, designed and licensed by Stamicarbon, intended to be used at facility making Urea and DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid). Sales package also includes HP piping System including HP control bends, pipe fittings, sample points, flanges, bolts and nuts (including gaskets), including weld consumables, thermowells and flow measurements in Safurex; Instruments; Advance Monitor leak detection system; HP reactor commissioning parts; HP reactor spare parts for two years of normal operation; Commissioning and spares for valves; and Advance Insight Simulator. Licensing and process design package also available and required. Currently stored under nitrogen blanket. Unit is available immediately.

Used complete 1,500 TPD urea granulation plant produces urea granules of minimum 46% nitrogen and maximum 0.3% water content. The plant was operated for only 8 months. All the equipment is maintained like new.

Used 1,400 TPD Ammonia Plant built in 1981. If its CO2 compressor is up-scaled more, the plant can produce 1,500 TPD of urea. Major upgrades include: (a) High efficient trays (Casale) installed in urea reactor – 1996; (b) Desorption and hydrolysis section (Casale technology) – 1996; (c) Radar level meters for reactor and stripper – 2011; (d) Carbamate pumps pulsation dampers – 2011; (e) CO2 compressor Woodward control system – 1996. Urea is synthesized from liquid ammonia and CO2 gas at the pressure of 144 bar and temperature of 180 – 190 °C. CO2 is compressed at 134 – 145 bar with 4% of air injected to prevent corrosion. Ammonia is pumped at 160 – 170 bar into the high pressure carbamate condenser. Ammonia and CO2 react in the urea synthesis column to generate raw urea. Urea solution is obtained in the stripper and expanded at 2.5 – 3 bar. Evaporation has two stages in vacuum to generate urea melt at 99.7%. (This plant is compatible with Ammonia Plant #433).

Used 1,200 TPD urea granulation plant upgraded in 2000. Hydro Fertiliser Technology (now Thyssen Krupp) designed evaporation section and fluid bed granulator. Upgrade project completed with 420 ton capacity stainless urea melt tank, twin Rotex reciprocating sizing screens, Bauermeister rolls crusher, Solex thermal fluid bed cooler and Type D Turbulaire dust scrubber. This plant is the back end of Urea Plant #537.

Used 240,000 TPY Urea Plant built in 1974. The plant was constructed by C&I Girdler to produce granular urea. The synthesis and recovery sections utilize the Snam-progetti Process. The finishing section employs the C&I Gridler-Cominco Spherodizer Granulation Process.

Used 1,000 TPD Urea Plant built in 1967. The complete Urea plant includes urea synthesis (reaction rate reaches 60%), decomposition, crystallization, dehydration, recovery and packing units. The plant engineers continuously improved the performance of the urea process. In its typical operation, the plant achieved the following consumption of raw materials and utility per metric ton of urea product. - Ammonia: 0.575 ton - CO2: 385 Nm3 - Electricity: 187.8 KW - Steam: 1.324 ton
