Used melamine plant with maximum capacity of 51,000 TPY. The plant includes the following process sections: urea wash, reactor, gas cooler, hot gas filtration, crystallization, cyclone, melamine waste water treatment. In melamine synthesis, urea is converted to melamine at approximately 400 °C and 2 bar with SiO2 / Al2O3 catalyst. Consumption data (per ton of melamine): 2.6 - 3 ton urea, 270 m3 natural gas.
