The Oscillating Granulator is a rotating sieve mill used in the production of fine powders. Material enters the grinding chamber where it encounters a rotor with multiple bars attached to a shaft moving in a back and forth horizontal motion over a screen. The material falls to the screen where the oscillating motion of the rotor causes gentle grinding. The material, once sized, falls through the mesh and out a discharge hatch. Pharmaceutical and Nutracuetical industries use them to refine powder due to the low-heat generating charateristics and fine partical fraction capability.
