Unused 2098 sq ft Horizontal Carbon Steel Spiral Heat Exchanger. Manufactured by Tranter. Shell & coil each rated Full Vacuum/24.5 bar (355 psi) at -45 to 200 degrees C. (-49 to 392 F.). Volume shell 2.225 cubic meters (587 gallon), volume coil 1.260 cubic meters (332 gallon). 70" OD x 78" Length. Openings hot side (2) 8”, (2) 2”, cold side (2) 6”, (2) 2”. Mounted on (2) saddles. Used American Heat Reclaiming Spiral Heat Exchanger, Type 1-V, 90 square feet heat transfer surface area. Shell is constructed of stainless steel; head is construction of carbon steel. Unit rated for 75 PSI at 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Inner pass measures 1/2 " x 24", outer pass measures 1/4" x 24". Shell thickness measures 0.109 inch. Includes 2" water inlet/outlet. New in 1975. Serial number 11069, National Board number 8279.
