Overview

The plant is designed to remove nitrogen from the inlet gas, recover the ethane and heavier liquid components (NGL’s) and deliver the resulting “on-specification” residue gas to sales via compression. The plant is designed for an inlet gas flow rate of 28 MMSCFD (minimum flow rate 14 MMSCFD). Inlet Gas Composition and Condition: Methane 71.34%, Nitrogen 12.44%, Ethane 7.54%, Propane 4.22%, operating pressure 995 psig @ 115 °F. Product Specifications: (a) Residual Gas: Nitrogen 3%, Carbon Dioxide 2%, maximum pressure 1100 psig @ 120°F; (b) NGL product: methane / ethane ratio = 3 mol% maximum, pipeline pressure 2100 psig @ 120°F.
