Used Polyester Continuous Polycondensation and POY Plant. The plant includes three production units: Continuous Polycondensation Unit (CPU), POY (Partially Pulled Yarn) Spinning and PET Staple Fiber Spinning. CPU is designed for the continuous production of polyester (polyethylene terephthalate “PET) starting from pure terephthalic acid (PTA) and ethylene glycol (EG). CPU includes the processes of bag uploading, catalyst system, delustering system, paste preparation, esterification, prepolycondensation, and final polycondensation. The polycondensation is carried out by 4 reactors designed by Zimmer. POY Unit has 3 direct spinning lines with totally 468 spinning points from Zimmer (spinnerettes diameter 100 mm and 85 mm) and 1 polyester chip spinning line from Barmag (spinnerettes diameter 80 mm). It has a central polymer filter with 15 microns finesse. The plant can also produce staple fiber by Neumag machine. The plant has Honeywell CDU-9000 control system. All auxiliary equipment available, such as steam generator, catalyst preparation tanks.
