Used 23,000 BPD Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) built in 1950. The purpose of the Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit is to crack and convert a lower value Atmospheric Gas Oil (AGO) and Vacuum Gas Oil (VGO) stream from the Crude Unit, into higher value gasoline blend components. This is accomplished by use of slide valves to control circulating catalyst level and temperature between the Reactor and Regenerator.
