Used 6,500 TPY PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) Fiber Plant. This plant uses PET chips to manufacture fibers in deniers ranging from 1100 to 2200 dtex. Major market of the PET fiber products are high modulus yarn used in geotextile applications, and low shrinking yarn used mostly for tarpaulins. The process includes crystallization, solid state polymerization reaction, extrusion, cross quenching, spinning, drawing and winding. The plant also has an automatic doffing and packing system. Major equipment was manufactured by Barmag and Rieter.
