Used Munson Model 700-TSC-110-SS "Special" Rotary Batch Blender per the following description:
Size:
-110 cubic foot mixing capacity.
-218 cubic foot total drum volume.
-6600 lbs maximum batch weight.
-Rated batch capacity approx. 1/2 drum volume.
Blending Drum:
-Bolted and welded steel construction.
-All product contacting surfaces constructed of #304 stainless steel with a #2B mill finish.
-Rotating mixing drum is truncated at intake end.
-(8) 1/4 x 4" wide rolled bands welded across the length of the cylinder section & (8) similar bands attached up 1/2 of the discharge cone section.
-Bands will be welded in place for customer to mount & locate internal lifters.
-Hinged and gasketed inspection door in drum.
Intake:
-Product charge is via a gravity intake spout, "large diameter".
-Adjustable spring pressure radial seal assembly, Teflon/fiberglass construction.
- Internal mixing drum vent in feed sprout.
-Intake ring opened for customer supplied sprayline assemblies
-top left, tp right & bottom right quadrants opened with sheet metal cover and three drilled and tapped holes in each.
Discharge:
-Special cylinder discharge door, pneumatically operated, supplied with low speed ,high torque gear head drive.
-8" wide x length of cylinder discharge door.
-Door constructed of 1/4" stainless steel 1/8" UHMW liner. -Removable door stop.
-Dust tight vented spout assembly.
-Shortened discharge spout
-supplied with flange and polycarbonate cover bolted in place.
Support Structure:
-Unit supported by structural steel bed frame assembly.
-Mixing drum supported by meehanite iron trunnion rings on alloy steel trunnion roller assemblies.
Motor:
-15 HP, 230/460 Volts, 3 phase, 60 cycle, TEFC, 1800 RPM Drive:
-Countershaft mounted gear reducer with single strand roller chain and sprocket drive.
-Machine setup for operating at approx. 8.5 RPM, will be capable of operating up to 12 RPM with a variable frequency controller.
-Drum guard baffled at support frame to ensure no product build-up on frame.
