Stretch wrappers are usually the last step in the packaging process. Though there are several types of stretch wrappers, such as rotary arm, turntable, orbital and rotary ring, they all work in similar fashion.
Rotary arm - product is stationary as an arm passes around it delivering stretch wrap in its path
Rotary Ring - similar to the rotary arm, the rotary ring encircles the pallet and a spinning shuttle within rapidly pulls the film around the product.
Orbital - is a rotary ring in a vertical orientation
Turntable - product stops on a spinning platform and the stretch wrap is applied.
