A labeler is a machine that is designed to apply an identifying sticker to the side of a bottle, pouch, box or other container. As the container approaches a sensor a spool aligns a sticker with the side of the package. As the package passes - the label is applied. Frequently additional information, such as a time stamp, date stamp, LOT number or other manufacturing tracking data, is printed on the label at the time of application.
