A separator is a vibratory screening device that separates bulk solids using single or multiple vibrating decks consisting of screens with varying aperature, of hole, sizes. The vibration is controlled by upper and lower eccentric weights tied to a motorized shaft. These weights cause the screens to oscillate in such a manner that the solids or slurries are directed to points on the screeen that will allow the desired size particle to pass through and move to the next deck or be removed. Screens for the separators can range in size from 18" to more than 100" and the aperature size can separate items from 2" down to 30 micron. Vibratory Screen Separators are found in several processing industries like pharmaceutial, bulk chemical, mineral, food processing, dairy, plastics and recycling.
