Used 7,000 BPD Gasoline Depentanizer Unit from an Oil Refinery built in 1995. The depentanizer is intended to control the vapor pressure of finished gasoline by removing pentane from the FCC gasoline stream after heat exchange with the bottom product. Overhead gas is condensed and accumulated in a receiver. Reflux is returned to the column and pentane routed to storage. The resulting low RVP gasoline is cooled and sent to storage. The depentanizer has never been used since it was built.
