Phoenix Equipment buys and sells unused, used and reconditioned Cottoner equipment.
A cottoner is designed to insert a buffer of cotton into the neck of a bottle used for packaging pills, capsules or tables in the Pharmaceutial, nutraceutical, food or vitamin industries. Cottoners can be either inline or rotary. Slower, yet more versitile, inline models used a conveyor to align the bottles for the cotton while rotary uses multiple inertion heads into bottles of certain diameters and shapes.
Manufacturers include Lakso, King, CLI, Kalish, Dietz, Capmatic, Consolidated, IMA among others.
